New Clients

Returning Clients

Existing clients may book treatment sessions directly. Your clinician will reassess hair growth, skin condition, and treatment response at each appointment to ensure treatment settings remain appropriate and safe.

Treatment Suitability

For safety reasons, treatment suitability is always determined at the clinician’s discretion on the day of your appointment. Treatment may need to be postponed if factors such as recent sun exposure, medications, skin irritation, contraindications, or the need for patch testing are identified.

All treatments are performed using medical-grade laser technology, and treatment parameters such as spot size, fluence, and pulse duration are selected by the clinician based on individual skin and hair characteristics to ensure the highest standard of safety and effectiveness.

Sun Exposure & Tan Lines

Laser hair removal cannot be safely performed on recently sun-exposed, tanned or sunburnt skin. This includes natural sun exposure, tanning beds, spray tans or visible tan lines. Treating tanned skin may increase the risk of burns, blistering, or pigmentation changes.

Clients must ensure the skin has returned to its natural tone prior to attending their appointment.

Tattoos

Laser hair removal cannot be performed directly over tattooed skin. A minimum distance of approximately 3cm must be maintained around tattooed areas to prevent damage to the tattoo and surrounding skin.

Botox & Fillers

After receiving Botox and filler injections, the skin needs time to recover and stabilise. Laser hair removal, using thermal energy, can potentially cause irritation or affect the results of the injection procedures if performed too early. It is recommended to wait 2-3 weeks after receiving injections, and before your laser hair removal treatment. Always advise your clinician before or after receiving Botox or filler injections, or if unsure.

Booking Accuracy

Please ensure you select the correct treatment area and appointment type when booking. Appointment times are allocated according to the selected service and cannot be extended on the day.

If incorrect areas are booked or additional areas are requested, these may need to be scheduled for a separate appointment depending on clinician availability. Treatment can only be performed within the allocated appointment time, and areas not booked may not be treated during the same visit.

Treatment Preparation

Clients must follow all pre-treatment instructions provided by the clinic, including shaving the treatment area where required.

If the area has not been correctly prepared, contains excessive hair growth, fake tan, recent sun exposure, or other contraindications, treatment may need to be modified, shortened, postponed, or rescheduled for safety reasons.

Treatment Scheduling

Treatments are scheduled according to typical hair growth cycles to achieve optimal results. As results improve, treatment intervals may be extended.

If appointments are significantly delayed or not maintained within recommended timeframes, treatment progress may be affected. Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate treatment intervals.

Treatment Results

Laser hair removal results vary between individuals and depend on factors such as hair type, skin type, hormones, treatment consistency, and individual biological response.

While laser treatment can significantly reduce hair growth, permanent hair removal cannot be guaranteed, and maintenance treatments may be required.

Late Arrivals

Appointment times are strictly allocated to ensure all clients receive the appropriate treatment time.

Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late will be considered a no-show, as the appointment may no longer be able to be completed safely or within the allocated time. This may result in the loss of the session in accordance with clinic policy.

Rescheduling & Incomplete Appointments

If a treatment session cannot be completed due to factors including tanning, medication use, skin conditions, contraindications, incorrect preparation, or other circumstances outlined in our treatment guidelines, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or if line with policies, forfeited or deemed at the total cost of treatment session as appointment time has been reserved.

48 Hour Cancellation Policy

Any appointment cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time and prior to receiving our courtesy reminders.

Changes made within 48 hours may result in a reschedule fee of $50, the forfeiture of the session, or total cost of treatment value in accordance with clinic policy. Changes made within 24 hours may result in the forfeiture of your session or total cost of your treatment value.

Packages, Promotions & Refunds

Promotional packages and prepaid treatments are non-refundable and subject to stated expiry periods. We are unable to exchange sessions between clients. Booking deposits are non-refundable, rather saved as a credit to use within three months of expiry.

By booking or purchasing treatments, clients acknowledge that individual results vary \and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Refunds are not provided based on treatment outcomes or personal expectations.

Client Responsibility

By proceeding with booking, clients acknowledge they have read and understood the information provided and accept responsibility for maintaining treatment schedules, following preparation guidelines, and ensuring they attend appointments appropriately prepared.

Complaints & Treatment Concerns

For a consultation without treatment-

• Allow enough growth for our clinician to best assess hair and skin type.

Before Your Laser Hair Removal Appointment-

• Clean shave the area 12-24 hours prior (no waxing, plucking, hair removal cream or epilating before or in between appointments).

• Avoid sun exposure, tanning, fake tan & gradual tanners for 2 weeks before. This includes tan lines regardless of timeframe exposure. If unsure, please contact us to assess or reschedule.

• Come with clean skin – no deodorant, lotions, oils, or makeup on the area. Loose clothing’s is recommended, avoid tight clothing to avoid sweating and friction. Moisturise between sessions with a gentle fragrance-free based moisturiser.

• Let us know if you’re pregnant, on antibiotics, or any medications.

Aftercare

• Mild redness or warmth is normal and usually settles within a few hours.

• Avoid heat (hot showers, saunas, intense exercise) for 24–48 hours.

• No sun exposure, tanning, or fake tan for 2 weeks after.

• Apply soothing aloe or calming cream if needed.

• Hair will shed over 1–3 weeks – do not pluck or wax between sessions. Exfoliate lightly after 5-7 days.

Results

• Best results occur with multiple, consistent sessions as hair grows in cycles.

• Patchiness is normal and a great sign! It does not mean the laser has missed areas.

• Hair grows back finer, slower, and reduced with each treatment. Laser hair removal is a reduction, not a complete removal. Darker or thicker hair is the best candidate, while very light, fine or vellus-like hair with no pigment is best to be avoided. View less
